Project Title: “Pilot Project for Sustainable Public Water Points Using Electronic Money Payments”
Project Duration: Scheduled from June 2025 to February 2026
This project aims to promote a water supply system utilizing electronic money payment in Uganda, enabling people to purchase safe drinking water easily and affordably. By doing so, it is expected to improve access to water, enhance sanitary conditions, and reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases. Additionally, the system’s ability to ensure reliable fee collection will contribute to the sustainable operation and maintenance of water facilities. This initiative supports SDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for All.
